I bought a small flint roller thinking it would be nice, compact and closed for the occasional use that I push the flint rollers through. It was too small, the sheets couldn't be removed after the hair was wrapped around it, and it often jumped out. It was a much better decision. It's big enough to do a lot with just one sheet that's easy to remove. The lid is really good at keeping it clean or unplugging things when not in use. The way the handle falls down when closed makes it fairly flat, which also keeps it from getting unbalanced and falling off all the time. the handle is pulled out. It would be tedious to roll the stack in heavy conditions when only half of it is available, but it's fine for my needs.
