I have an Android Auto head unit in my car, but it needs a direct connection to my phone to work. When I'm in a hurry, I usually holster my phone in my car and drive away. I don't have time to unplug the USB cable and plug it in properly, it's an extra step that I often skip and just use Bluetooth audio instead. This cable changes everything! Now the cord is already on the magnet next to the phone, all I have to do is swing it near the bottom of the phone and PUSH! It connects and runs Android Auto! I've tried another similar magnetic cable before, but it only seemed to work well as a charger, it didn't send the data needed for a connection like Android Auto through the USB cable. I'm happy to say it WORKS and it's as great as I hoped it would be! I can't say anything about durability yet, but I'm happy with it so far. The device comes with enough ports and attachments for my wife to have one in her phone, and of course enough cables for us to charge both when we're not in the car. The little protrusion sticking out from the bottom of my phone is a bit like a finger magnet. I wonder if this will ultimately reduce the life of my USB port or tip, but for now I'm very happy with it. and would highly recommend it to anyone in my place!
