When I was looking for a Nintendo Switch controller, I wanted the controller to look like an old school clear case. Unfortunately, Nintendo doesn't offer any colors other than black. That's where this interchangeable case came in! I knew there would be a lot of parts, especially screws, but I didn't expect how invasive the case replacement would be. There are about 15 screws in total, and they are very tight, requiring some pressure on the screw to remove. The most nerve wracking part was removing and replacing the screws that attach the circuit board to the front of the controller case. I was afraid of breaking it, so I really had a gentle and steady hand when handling the gear. There is adhesive tape that secures the circuit board to the rest of the controller. So if you don't want to remove/replace it, you have to work around it and be careful not to damage it by pulling on it too hard. Other than that, this case works great and my controller still works!
