I was looking for a moonlight lamp as one of my aquariums was not equipped with this alternative lighting option. I bought this LED light because it was very cheap and looked pretty basic so I thought what do you have to lose? Overall not what I wanted, but for the price it's a decent little flashlight. I have it in my 15 gallon tank which is large and not long so finding things that work well in a limited space is impractical. So, as for the size of this lamp, I'm satisfied. Doesn't take up much space. I've seen people complain about the suction power, but so far I haven't had any issues. My guess is that if the device were heavier it might need better cups. If you have looked at my photo I provided you will see what it looks like at night. It's very pretty and not TOO bright (especially since I have a large aquarium style). The biggest disappointment was that you can't control the lights in any way, so basically I'm not going to leave the light here all the time. The ever changing light while it cools the colors seems to stimulate my fish when I intend to use the night mode ie. H. sleep time! The tint isn't the moonlight feature I'm looking for, but for now it gets the job done! All in all, this is a good little light. For less than $10 you get a fair deal for what you pay for. Hope this was helpful to someone! :)
