I bought this for my chair. The included instructions as well as the picture in the package were for the daybed/sofa. It really doesn't need instructions for the chair. The chair cover is pretty soft and comfy, I'm guessing it's waterproof, I haven't spilled anything on it yet. There are 2 points, one on each side, for attaching a wide strap. These 2 dots are located at about arm height on the back of the front cover. IMO should have been higher. The reason for this is that you have to adjust the cover every time you get up and sit in your chair. It pulls the hand covers towards it and the material on the back tightens as well. You have to readjust every time. I walk over to him, pull him up a bit more and over his back, turn around and grab the armrests, then sit down. Except that you have to adjust it every time it seems to be working great for the job. Protect your seat and back from splashes etc. January 30 update: After a month of using this cover there is a big minus. Every time I sit down in a chair, the armrests pull back into the seat a bit. I lean to the side and pull the lid over my arm and then over the other side. After getting up from the chair a few times, the blanket somehow falls onto the seat of the chair behind my back. It's a pain in @** .
