This stand only fits flat base laptops and also has no legs that get in the way of the stand. I've used this with two gaming laptops so far and it doesn't hold the laptop well. MSI GE75 Raider with 17.3 inch screen works well but the stand scratches the plastic bottom of the laptop. Lenovo Legion 5i with 17.3 inch screen cannot stay on stand, falls out, tips over from behind. I think this stand is only suitable for Apple Macbook and Razer Blades. Since it can be used for other devices like a tablet or a book, it's worth keeping. It also comes in a pretty pouch.
