I bought a pair of these Crocs along with a pair of similar style hemp sleds. Both shoes are comfortable, cool and well made. My shoe size is between 11 and 12 and I have wide feet. I ordered a size 12 Crocs and they fit perfectly. The length is good and the width is spacious. If you've worn standard plastic Crocs, you know what to expect in terms of the insole - the pimply plastic that can make your feet sweat and then make your feet feel like they're slipping. I'm not a big fan but I don't hate that pimply sponge plastic feel. The Crocs are holding up well so far, but I've only had them for a few weeks. Past experience tells me that soles become slippery over time. How the canvases are worn I can't say - I just haven't had them long enough. Like Sanuks, I wear these Crocs without socks so the fabric wicks the sweat off my feet and after a while they start smelling like a pair of sweaty socks. Airing them out after wearing helps, but they do need to be washed occasionally. I've only washed mine once. I used liquid detergent and hand washed in the sink. Instead of putting them in the dryer, I let them air dry. They have not shrunk or faded after one wash, but I would expect them to at least fade after a few washes. I am happy with this shoe. It's pretty comfy summer wear if those plastic crocodile leather insoles don't put you off.
