The smell wasn't exactly "white sage" and I'm not a fan. It smelled nice when you first lit it, but after a few minutes it smells like my roof is on fire. So I cut the leaves off the stems for (the real stain) and burned them instead. works well but the local Natice says it's their version (Skunk Weed).
