This is the best travel mug I have ever owned. Sealed when closed. I dropped it in my bag with a full container of tea and everything in my bag came out dry. Hot tea stays hot after an hour and stays warm after 4 hours. The inner metal gets stained after a while and the lid is difficult to clean, especially under the part where it opens. The rubber pad also gets dirty after repeated use, but is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The outer cup stays cool so you don't need anything extra to avoid burning your hands. I've had this mug for many years and it's still my favorite travel mug. worth your money.
