Review on πŸ“Ί Fobis Technologies WE-XW Weemote X-TV Remote Control, White: The Ultimate TV Control Solution by Nina Noble

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Can work for people with memory problems or Alzheimer's disease

Suitable for people with Alzheimer's disease, which allow them to use only the main buttons of the TV. It's easy to program 5 favorite channels, even digital channels that have "-" or "." (It can even be configured to work with 10 channels, but that makes it for a person with a disability slightly more difficult), but such programming must be done by a caregiver. Make room to attach a small or P-Touch label with the actual channel number over the existing numbers 1 through 5 pre-printed on the buttons. The disabled person can still access even more channels with the up/down search button, they can also adjust the volume and turn the TV on and off. As with any device for a person with a disability, it all depends on how disabled the person is at the moment. Yes, this remote control is designed for a child. I'm sorry that in such a high-tech modern world you have to buy such a "simple" device for a disabled adult.
