I have a couple of small Bluetooth receivers/transmitters. When used solely for music, they sound great on their own. However, when I use them with my TV they still sound great, but there is a noticeable timing issue. From time to time I like to watch TV (especially live football!) through the surround speakers. Connecting a cable directly between my TV and speakers creates a bit of a mess, and my TV doesn't natively support Bluetooth. Using my existing equipment didn't help as the audio was noticeably out of sync with the video. Enter this little Avantree device. Now it is always connected to my TV. No more sync problems! Being able to watch live football through my surround speakers and have the commentator scream "Gooool!” in perfect sync when a goal actually scores, great of course! Not to mention being able to watch tv shows, movies etc and the audio is perfectly synced to the actresses/actors mouths! As an added bonus, I can now also use the optical audio output on my TV (only supports the AUX/RCA standard on other devices). Not only is the audio perfectly synced with the video, it sounds better too! This little device was a great addition to the TV entertainment in my home. And it's small enough to be easily hidden. If you're looking for a way to watch TV through your speakers with good audio sync and don't want to mess around with cables, I highly recommend getting this Avantree device!
