The pictures show one of the clamps in my hand so you can see the size better and also in the back of my head. The colors are beautiful and they appear to be of good quality. My main goal was to separate and hold hair while straightening or curling and they will excel at this work. However, they look very pretty and cute, so I would wear a hair clip as well. The clip is easy to open and close and holds well in the hair. I have very fine to thin hair so usually the hair clips and things slide and slide, but this has held up really well while I have been tidying my room. I used matte green for this test, which has a slightly different texture than the glitter clips in this box, so I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not. Overall I think this is great value for money especially when they add those 2 hair ties. These are my favorite hair ties because they stay in place in my hair again. Tip: If the spiral hair ties stretch, you can put them in very warm water or blow dry them on high heat and they will shrink back to their size!
