I think this dog camera is a great way to keep in touch with your pup when you are away from home. Basically, there's a prompt asking you to set up the camera in the app. There is an app for both Apple and Android. To be honest the app needs some tweaking overall, sometimes the camera goes offline or you have to close and restart the app. The camera is like a fisheye lens that you can zoom into. inside or outside but the view is all round. You get both the camera and live audio in the app, but you can turn it off if you don't want to. The treat compartment is at the top, and the treat that fits in the hole is smaller than the penny shape. The camera will record treats on a schedule, you can do it manually. My biggest issue was my camera was scratched on the bottom which was very disappointing, the dirt and smudges didn't come out at all even after trying to clean it.
