I liked that this flashlight has both normal and UV modes. It has red and white lights on the side of the device, as well as a regular LED in the lens area. The magnetic base is also a great feature. I love that it comes with an 18650 battery. I liked that it had more light modes than I expected. I like that you can long press in any mode to turn it off. Too bad it doesn't turn on in the same mode. Unfortunately, the UV only failed on the second day of use. I probably only have 10 or 15 total minutes of UV use before failure. The UV actually still works, but only very weakly. Probably only a few percent of the original brightness. It's possible that the driver transistor or some other component has failed, not the actual UV LED. The switch flashes red (usually green) when the battery is low. I charged the battery when it was flashing red and when fully charged the UV works fine again. It would be better if the low battery indicator activates before the UV lamp runs out of power. Or the packaging or manual may tell the user that the UV light has stopped working while the normal light is still working. Upgrade from 2 to 4 stars. If the battery life is good I'll probably upgrade to a full 5 stars. I was very happy with the flashlight before the UV stopped working. I am again very happy with my purchase.
