Review on Epson LQ-590II Monochrome Dot Matrix Printer - 24-pin by Ronald Duguay
Cheap production, unacceptable customer service
We bought 2 of these printers to replace the old generation LQ590. The handle has been changed on this printer, it is now all plastic and breaks easily. Epson refuses to send a replacement pen on the grounds that it is not user-replaceable. This is equivalent to saying that your gas cap is not user replaceable. I spent an hour on the phone with no solution. The nearest service center is more than 100 miles away in another state. I will not buy Epson again in the future
