Review on VViViD Air Tint - Easy Release for Headlight and Taillight Enhancement by John Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Seems to be of great quality and easy to work with

They are dark but don't fully darken in the sun which is nice when driving around with cops. I installed this on my Genesis Coupe taillights. If you have LED taillights, the brake lights will light up day and night with no problem. I can't speak for ordinary bulbs, but I suspect there won't be any light output issues. Very easy to assemble, even with extreme curves. Simply heat the vinyl where it meets the curve and stretch just enough to hug it. Try to "glaze" as you stretch, but don't overdo it. Remember to always apply to the flattest part first and squeegee outwards from the center. Don't forget to put the vinyl to rest when you get to the end of the world. This will prevent the vinyl from stretching and peeling. If you have little to no experience with vinyl, take your time and watch tutorial videos before trying. This special vinyl has a textured pattern on the sticky side of the non-stick paper. Sits on. Once applied, this pattern should smooth out and disappear after a few weeks of baking in the sun. If you get blisters, take a needle and poke a hole in it. Overall the quality seems good and it's easy to work with.
