do not apply with water

Many shades can be applied wet or dry. However, it only worked dry and with a good amount of heat from a hair dryer. Tips: Turn off the light. Trim the overall shape of your light about 4 inches more than you need. Lift the edge of both protective clear coats before application. Glue sticky side down, working from center to edges, applying heat liberally while pulling.

That would be great, but when I unrolled it, it had a .

Would have been great but when I rolled it out it had a lot of creases that couldn't be ironed out with a heat gun and stretch. The wrinkle free portions were very easy to work with. I'm new to using vinyl wrap and could easily finish my headlights in about an hour. If only more attention was paid to the sellers. If the seller guaranteed me no wrinkles I would buy again.

  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good looking product but installation can be difficult

I think the product looks great. It seemed that every time I edited the footage, it left sticky marks. In my opinion the material is slightly thicker than plastic than vinyl film. If your headlights are flat and don't have many curved or concave areas, this product is ideal. When the headlights are much more complex, it becomes very difficult. I do not recommend this product for beginners especially if you have curvy headlights.

Absolute rubbish. to lights & lighting accessories

Stay away from this brand. There is no quality control. You would think a competent company would know how to wrap foil around a wide cardboard tube to prevent this type of product curling, but instead they just send you a tightly rolled product that collapses during packing and shipping. Even with a heat gun, it's impossible to get a smooth finish. I bought two purple ones because I wanted to give my mom a nice little surprise for the weekend. It's damn late now. An absolute waste of money.

Nice movie though.

I'm really heartbroken. I make a living installing window tint so I have experience with other films and vinyls. I know this film has one clear liner for the adhesive and the other is a protective layer for the front. I took my time installing it and it was really nice. I was so happy I planned to write a big 5 star review explaining the professional nature of the installation. When I tried to remove the last clear plastic cover instead, I instead removed the layer containing all of the…

Bad results but cheap film.

Like other reviewers, the film arrived quickly but was so tightly wrapped that the film was wrinkled. I dry mine on late Tahoe headlights, which are pretty flat. Unfortunately there is no vent and once it touches the surface it gets stuck! Lots of bubbles and wrinkles even when heated and stretched. The film has an adhesive protective layer as well as a layer over the finish, like a cell phone lens protector. Even after removing the top layer and popping the bubbles and then heating them, the…

You get what you pay for!

Delivery of this item (a first class item) was fairly quick and the item was priced fairly but you get what you pay for. The item was shipped rolled up, which in turn resulted in folds and creases that even my heat gun couldn't smooth out. Vinyl wasn't easy to work with, despite using soapy water and a heat gun. The vinyl is thicker than most other vinyls on the market. I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu and my headlights are very curved, and no matter how much I tried to stretch, reposition, and…

Do not buy! Doesn't stick and doesn't fit well!

First I noticed that it had stripes. I figured it wasn't that bad so I tried installing it. I've often stuck tint film on my headlights. It was terrible. It doesn't stretch and, like most window tinting films, a little heat will help stretch it. But when heated, it shrinks. And not just a little. It shrinks more than 25%, most window tinting films shrink 4-5%. Not only that, the reel was closer to 36 inches than 48 inches. I was planning on making two headlights because the headlight was only…

Here's how to get FIVE stars and get noticed!

Surprisingly cool film! I was hesitant to buy it based on other reviews but luckily they are way off! I bought a fluorescent yellow paint for my Honda CBR motorcycle and it's exactly what I wanted. I took photos along the way to show the few steps I took and the result I got at the end. To be honest, I consider myself an experienced DIYer. Even if you've never used it before, it's easy to use once you understand how it works. First of all, like any other sticker, it has a protective film on the
