A few years ago I bought a DuraScoop Jumbo cat litter scoop and a CatGuru cat litter holder. They work great. I use a non-clumping crystal litter that dries out the poo. This shovel is great for picking up excrement while debris falls back down. When we adopt little kittens I have to use the traditional plastic scoop in her litter box as the holes are too small for the smallest kittens to get out. But it works fine with our new 10 week old kitten. Don't forget the spoon holder. The CatGuru worked great for us and won't tip over under the weight of this shovel. Just bought another scoop and holder for our new tray.
