Wire saddles are TERRIBLE! When you buy them, make sure you tighten them as tightly as possible. I severed several wires when tightening the accompanying wire. I bought forks from the same manufacturer and the saddles on them were fine. Not sure why the two different designs, but the female connectors are an issue. Where this device really works is in the cable entry. If it had the same saddles as its male counterpart, that would be a good device.
