Use plenty of Teflon tape!

So far so good! For the price you can't beat it. I read a lot of reviews that the valve leaked no matter what for some folks. So when I was connecting my hot and cold lines to the valve, I put a normal 1-2 laps of Teflon tape and threaded it in until it bottomed out by hand! Knowing the reviews by some folks I decided this was the problem. So I put about 10 laps of Teflon tape on and threaded it back on. It had to be tightened properly this time and felt good. No leaks on it for me.
