I had problems with my computer that I thought the card wasn't working. Expected). I solved my problems on my PC and got my hardware working with the built-in com1 port, but it didn't work with any of the Startech ports. I called support to explain that my built in com1 works with my computer but their device uses the same port and no cable settings. Her advice was that I contact my hardware vendor. (Although my com1 computer, cable and machine work fine but not with the startech box) I wish I really wanted this to work to pass my siig 2 usb through rs232 and my usb port to replace ugreen on RS232 (they all work fine)
