The crown arrived with the center stone missing and a few other stones. I found the main front stone in the package and glued it on with superglue. The silver painting on the back of the stone was lost, so it was somewhat obvious that the stone had been reapplied. I am an elementary school teacher and bought this at the last minute for a costume. Luckily the kids don't care. Didn't have time to return it and wait for something else so I had to get it working. It is made of seemingly durable metal. I was able to bend it to fit my head shape. The ribbon is thick so I don't think regular bobby pins will hold it in place. I'm using a ribbon to tie it at the back and hoping for the best. I paid $11 for it and I think it did the job, but if you plan on using it for more than one suit I don't think this crown will be for you.
