Review on Flexson Wall Mount Sonos Move by Justin Reese

Revainrating 4 out of 5

OK. overpriced. It serves its purpose, but it's not perfect.

At $100 each that would be a little over the 5 star target but Flexson obviously has an exclusive deal with Sonos as these are the only dedicated stands I've seen for the Move. Shelves do their job. Arrives well packaged and protected. Materials are good, all steel, nothing outstanding but solid and decent black matte finish. Warning: If you accidentally scratch the parts just by assembling them, you will immediately scratch the bare metal. This is a one coat deal. Assembly is easy, mostly 4 screws. They hold the loading plate up perfectly. The bottom plate is strong and prevents tipping. Hiding the cords is well thought out, but I recommend a pair of black zip ties at the top and bottom of the stand as there's nothing to keep the power cord in place without a raised loop at the top and bottom. It would be nice if they included these. I have bare floors, and the well-intentioned leg guards that screw in with a tiny rubber tip are what I would see scraping floors. Instead, use easily available felt pads. Carpet savers are those sharp spikes which I didn't quite understand as they will easily pierce your carpet or rug. The stand for holding the speakers at the top is again well-intentioned, but the rubber protector is loose and comes off when you grab the speaker. Overall they get the job done and have good aesthetics, and unless you're making bookshelves, desk or wall mounts in a dual-move stereo setup, you're going to need stands. I agree with the business strategy as anyone willing to spend $400 on a speaker will likely spend $150 on a booth.
