Review on πŸ”§ Inch Chrome Steel Bearing Balls: Optimum Power Transmission Products in Bearings by Alan Massey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for hand, wrist and forearm strengthening

I use them like baoding balls (meditation balls) but for strength and flexibility training. I got them back about 4 episodes of Star Trek: Voyager and have been using them to work with both hands ever since. The size and weight are ideal for me. I plan on getting a second pair so I can work with both hands at the same time. Here's how I chose the size and weight. Your use case may be different, so I hope this helps you decide if you are going to use them as baoding balls. A: I had never baoded until yesterday, so I went to YouTube and watched a video on choosing the right size and a video on the technique. I had a lacrosse ball and a tennis ball, so I practiced (and will continue to) practice basic techniques with them. Their overall diameter was about 5" and I could handle that, so I figured a 2" diameter would be good since I'm just starting out. I do grip strength training and wanted to complement it with baoding, so I decided to use ball bearings instead of real baoding balls for the weight. Be careful not to use too much weight with your hands. You really can ruin them. Oh! You don't want to drop them/watch where you use them and who's around. They are closed. Here are the measurements for my hand: - Thumb to little finger, palm extended: 8 inches - Palm width: 3.5 inches - Palm height: 3.5 inches - Base of palm to tip of middle finger: 7.5 inches
