The product came and I chose the brown to match a fur liner on my jacket. That jacket is real coyote while this is rabbit fur. Its not a perfect match but its perfectly acceptable. Coyote being much longer while this is shorter.My head is big, and this fits it so if you have a big head the 3X will probably fit it.The fur does shed and its normal. The hat is warm but not too warm because the inside is lined with a polyester type material. This is good because you don't want to get too warm and sweat on fur or have the fur shed on your hair making you look disheveled. The shape is quite boxy but its meant to be boxy per the ushanka style. When you put the ear flaps down it is warm. Your ears will not be cold on the coldest days also it becomes quiet.For the price I would definitely buy it and I wished i bought it sooner for the polar vortex we had.The pictures are in direct sunlight to give you the hue of the hat.
