Review on 🐠 Enhance Your Aquatic View with the Fluval Sea Evo V Saltwater Fish Tank Aquarium Kit, Black by Nicole Hunter

EVO XII Bulk in Aquariums and Fish Tanks

This rating is based on the assumption that I didn't add water for several days anyway, but rather a dry fit of the equipment. It arrived a little over 24 hours ago and I will update as soon as the release arrives. The packaging was solid, the actual product is packed in a printed box and well protected, it is additionally packed in another box that is slightly larger and offers protection for the printed case, basically from random tailors. This second crate is additionally packed in another large crate with corner protection/foam suspension so that there are "shock absorbers" at all 8 points of the inner container. Generally very well packaged. Unpacking the inner packaging including the tank was not difficult. The innermost printed box contains the tank and parts which in turn are suspended from foam blocks with added foam protection for the glass/fragile parts and on top of that the entire assembly was in a plastic bag. Every detail has been considered. Upon closer inspection while drying the parts, it was noticed that the tip tube coming from the return pump broke off the threaded section (Figure 1). This is a small issue that was immediately fixed with superglue, but indicates a shipping issue - the smaller diameter bib that had come loose (not screwed into the pump) arrived intact as expected. The biggest issue right now is the light bar. Immediately after connecting it started to fail. No attempts to activate the control button changed the light mode. In fact, the light didn't shine at all, just flashed, as seen in the video. Even when switched off and restarted, it does not return to the daylight setting, but only flashes. The tank itself is great. I especially like the raised base. The equipment compartment is not large enough for the Aquatic Life 115 skimmer, despite claims in reviews of this product, however only a few minor modifications are required to make it work. It would make the most sense to place the skimmer in compartment 2, which requires additional conversions and mostly removal of the equipment compartment cover. This shouldn't be a problem even with jumpers, but I can't be sure unless I can successfully get this setup to work. Bottom line, that's one star 28 hours after receipt. I couldn't fill it with water the way it was delivered because the return pump was compromised. As a result, the wrap around the tank is looped, the tank is also compromised or at least severely impeded. But the most important thing is the problem of lighting. The advantage of AIO is the convenience of not having to supply the lighting as an external component. So far, trying to get support has only led me to a direct link to the vendor's website. I was unable to register my purchase on this site for warranty and my request for assistance is pending. I was not at all impressed with their online marketplace or my ability to solve this problem. My dissatisfaction extends to Revain in general as they are listed as a supplier (although Hagen is the main supplier). Let's see what tomorrow brings. Update: I spoke to a customer service rep named Julio this afternoon. The delivery of the new light panel took less than 10 minutes. The biggest delay was loading my account. Great customer service experience.
