For the price ($250 at the time of writing) you get an IPS that isn't color accurate enough for serious work so it's common for someone to look around the IPS space. If you're just looking for a monitor for media consumption, this one is absolutely fantastic. For some reason they are very unhappy with the monitor speakers and they are actually very good. Good enough for the average person not to need speakers. Gaming performance is also excellent. 144 Hz is cool and looks good at the same time.
