For the price ($250 at the time of writing) you get an IPS that isn't color accurate enough for serious work so it's common for someone to look around the IPS space. If you're just looking for a monitor for media consumption, this one is absolutely fantastic. For some reason they are very unhappy with the monitor speakers and they are actually very good. Good enough for the average person not to need speakers. Gaming performance is also excellent. 144 Hz is cool and looks good at the same time. I just think the price of this monitor puts it in an odd position, you could easily save 50-100 for something with near-identical specs, or spend another 50-100 on the next tier. monitorTl:drPlus: very high quality, speakers 10:10, stand 10/10, screen looks 10/10 Cons: insufficiently accurate color reproduction for professional work (for "normal" people it won't matter), the price makes one weird golden mean where you can get the same thing for less or much better for a bit more
