So I really wanted the nails to look like a mermaid/unicorn. I get a powder pedicure at a nail salon but they didn't have that type of powder. I ordered unicorn nail powder and the nail salon only made white powder for my nails. Following the instructions in the description, I bought a leave-in top and white gel polish (see attached photos). I also bought a cheap LED nail dryer (see photo). I was also very impressed with these products (they were all purchased from Revain. And I didn't get a discount or free product for a positive review). I applied the following coats ABOVE my nails in the salon: - Top coat and 60 second cure - White gel polish coat and 60 second cure - Another coat of gel polish and 60 second cure - Add unicorn powder (glitter) with the included eye shadow - Add applicator until I like the look - apply a layer of top coat and let it dry for 2 minutes. I see reviews where others have had better success if they didn't fully cure the polish before adding the powder. However, for me I fully cured the polish and it worked fine. This may depend on the brand and color of the paint. I bought cheap natural color nail polishes and tried the process on them first before doing it on my nails. The shine is SUPER good and penetrates everywhere!). I had shiny glasses in my bedroom for 10 minutes lol. However, it is this ultra fine quality of glitter that gives it a shiny holographic appearance rather than glitter. The product is enough to make a full set of nails about 3 times. I will definitely buy this item again! Hope that helps :)
