Review on Aveeno Kefir Probiotic Blend Shampoo: Nourishing Hair Care with Kefir Probiotics, 12oz by Leslie Broussard

Stay away! Handfuls of hair fall, sticky feel, hair like straw

What a terrible product! Both shampoo and conditioner. Afterward, my fine, thin hair felt drier than straw and also super frizzy and coarse. Many hairs fell out in my soul. The conditioner doesn't condition and you have to use a ton more than other conditioners just to coat your tips. And to use as much as I have every time, I would expect messy, straight hair. Everything but my hair tends to be straight with a slight wave in certain places. I've used both products twice to be able to objectively evaluate them, but severe hair loss in the shower (and constant hair loss the day after use) made me give up trying to figure out if my hair just needed acclimatization. For the second use, I pretreated all my hair (including the roots) with conditioner, then washed with shampoo, then conditioner again, but only in the mid-lengths and ends of my hair (fine, fine hair gets weighed down when you pull the roots maintain with a strong conditioner, hence my strategy). It was terrible. I rinsed really well the second time because the first time it felt like there was a sticky residue left on my hair. The same from the 2nd time. I bought it for its claimed scalp care claims (seasonal dryness, itchy scalp, and dandruff-free sensitivity) and its claimed moisturizing and soothing properties. It didn't help and my scalp didn't feel any better. This should be taken off the shelves given the amount of hair loss it has caused.
