I bought these for pastel weathering model kits. Hobby stamps are basically the same (albeit a little smaller) but can easily be cut to this size with scissors. They work just as well, to my surprise. One thing I would note against this is that mine came completely open with the applicators falling out. They also don't easily fit into this box once taken out. They're awkward to get, and the box isn't made of quality plastic. Just keep them somewhere else. I went to the dollar tree and got a small plastic jar to keep them in and without further ado stuffed them in. But that's for a hobby, not my face. Basically: $6 for 150 applicators, just as good as a hobby applicator OR $6 for 3 hobby applicators with a brush on the back. (I bet I can find matching makeup brushes) Simple math.
