Review on 🌷 Tulip One-Step Reverse Tie Dye Kit - Multi-color by Lori Aguirre

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This product works if you follow the instructions. Very basic and good value for money.

This product is surprisingly easy to use and does the job perfectly. However, there are a few things you should know before using it that will make your job a lot easier and give you better results. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but I still recommend it as a much cleaner and safer alternative to using a bottle of bleach directly. When you add water to the pre-mixed powder in each bottle (there are 4 in the set), first make sure you use WARM WATER and really mix and shake the bottle. for the bleach granules to activate and work on your project. Second, after adding the bleach solution, be sure to rub the dye into the clothing (such as kneading the dough) to allow the bleach to get into the creases and adequately cover the item. There's no indication of how much solution to use on each shirt, but I found that I had to use almost an entire bottle on each shirt to get the saturation and color I needed. If you don't use enough, you'll end up with faded and mediocre results. I also wanted to add that you will most likely need to let the solution sit longer than if you were to use regular bleach. Be patient, be generous with the amount you use, and you will get great results. One more thing One thing I love about this kit is that you have very little direct contact with the bleach itself as the bottles already contain the bleach powder. Also, that "bleach" smell wasn't as strong with this method, which I appreciated. I'm very happy with the reversal color results I've had with this kit. Respect bleach (it can be dangerous) and always wear gloves when working on any of your projects. Create and enjoy!
