DP800III replaces DP800II. The biggest improvements are lower output power control, which lets you choose a much lower setting than the previous generation, and improved connectivity with wireless flash triggering via the Godox Xpro-N. In real personal tests, the reuse rate is even better than 1 per second. My personal testing at various power settings has shown that the flash actually charges in 0.3 seconds as stated by the manufacturer. At 75 percent output power, that's about 2.5 shots per second, or up to 5 shots every 2 seconds. At this speed, it sometimes misfires. At 50 percent I had absolutely no dropouts. At 100% or full power, the flash will sometimes load slower and approach 1 shot per second. In the seller's listing they are referring to the worst case scenario when they state a reuse rate of 1 second. The image of the attached watch was focused using 3 DP800III flashes to bracket at 1fps.
