I have a new Silverado body style, GM leaves very little room on the factory hitch. I had to drill new holes to hold the lights out of the chain hooks. Not a big deal as there were dimples in the strut (I'm assuming the same cast for multiple models.) If you're planning on doing the same as me and as extra reversing lights, here's a tip. Click on the 7-pin trailer connector. The middle pin is a white wire with a green indicator on it. You can then walk ground onto the frame.
