The first thing to note compared to other brands I've tried is that the box looked like it was made out of wood before I opened it. It's really very thick cardboard. There is virtually no chance of it being damaged in the American mail unless the postman tries to bend it. I am strong and doubt I could bend the box even if I tried. The top tread went in very easily. I had to pick it up, not because of the dirt but because of an air pocket as the edges stick faster than the middle. It's a slight up and down though. Fits perfectly. I think I saw a very small piece of dirt under the installed screen, but I can't see it unless I place this unit under a bright lamp. I've found that using light jets of compressed air helps blow off particles if you slowly lower the treads like I did. I went through 2 of the 4 bottom treads before deciding to pass. I've been putting protectors on DS gear for almost a decade now. The floor protection almost never slips on easily. This has nothing to do with the protector itself and is a Nintendo design flaw. The border around the screen is not deep enough. It is easy to slide the screen protector too far in any direction, at a slight angle, etc. However, you don't really need to have a screen protector on the bottom screen. If you're selling by value based on condition, everyone expects some sort of markup on the bottom screen. The upper is what you really buy a protector for. Some will argue that the protector isn't big enough. You don't want the tread at the bottom to be exactly the size of the coverage area, or you can't lift it up. You'll likely damage the screen if you try to stick something sharp in there to lift it up. Just don't bother. Will definitely consider this brand for my other devices. It comes with a number of extras that I can keep for other uses such as B. extra wet wipes, dry wipes, cardboard bubble pushers and slightly sticky garbage collection strips.
