Carburettor is fine and works as it should

I am a qualified professional motocross mechanic. The carburetor is fine and works as it should. Customer's carb failed and they found it on Revain hundreds cheaper than the OEM and asked me to order it to save money. I REALLY didn't want to. The reason I post a product review, which I never do with aftermarket parts, is to respond to reviews of a product that doesn't preform or overflow. Yes, the overflow drain is not in the same location as the OEM. However, it exists. The overflow is built into the drain. If you need to check this, lower the bowl and you will see the overflow tube with the drain plug closed, blow air through the drain tube and you will see that it works. Another fact is that the injector is a factory injector which requires the same air/fuel mixture settings as the stock injector. It turns out that 2.5-3.5 and the temperature and altitude are corrected according to the recommendations of the drain. The idle screw is fully seated, so adjustment is needed here as well. Tuning a carburetor is easy but may not be possible unless you are trained or at least not very familiar with air/fuel mixture formulas and throttle/idle adjustment. If not adjusted properly, it can cause starting failures and even engine failures when running rich or lean. The initial installation took 10 minutes and set up like a new OEM. How it will hold up as well over the long term I can't say and will see how this holds up, but for a trail bike it should hold up very well. Good luck, hope this helps.
