Why would anyone buy Sonos because of this? Not me. No, unless I had the money to burn

I have thoroughly researched all streaming amps. I ended up getting seven of these for full audio streaming at home. I'm not an audiophile. But I like all kinds of music. Me, my wife and my kids couldn't be happier with it. They were very easy to set up. Ethernet devices are automatically detected by the application. Wireless setup took 2 minutes. The volume is good and loud enough for rock 'n' roll too. I ran them two 8 ohm speakers at 100 watts each through a 100 watt volume control locally in each zone. The app can also control the volume. So I have local volume toggles in overdrive and adjust them through the app unless my phone is nearby. One of them is connected to my Sony Bravia TV and outputs two stereo speakers and a powered subwoofer through the audio output. I was worried it wouldn't work, but it works like a charm, switching from streaming to line input with ease. So, for almost the cost of a Sonos amp, I got seven of those seven unique zones that can be played in any combination with just a drag-and-drop action within the app. I couldn't be happier. You won't regret getting this.
