I received it 2 days ago so it's too early to write a review but I can already see improvements in my small tank. I have a 2.5 gallon aquarium with live plants and shrimp. I thought the cones were a good size. I have attached some photos. I placed the stalk with the three buds in the aquarium by soaking it in warm water for about 10 minutes. The soaking water had a slight brown tint, but I could not detect any color tint in my aquarium water. The biggest surprise. One of the plants, a Javanese fern growing on a piece of coconut shell, has developed a white, wavy fungus underneath. It's been there for a few weeks and has spread. I've washed it off twice but it keeps growing back. Everything is gone this morning. The description for them said they were antifungal as part of their function, but I was still surprised. I thought it was more for prevention. But I'm satisfied. Oh, and they seem to like the shrimp too.
