I was ready to throw the iPad away as I'd gone through 2 other cases and every time I was disappointed when something was wrong I just wanted to buy a new iPad. I gave one last try and found it was worth more and it worked! What is the difference. The connector/cable connecting the screen to the iPad was completely covered and not a single part was left exposed (this found out after reading about screen replacement issues - $20 down the drain) , the same at the bottom of the screen , where the ports are located (below the part where the home button is located). I bought 2 units for $19.99 each (bought the 2nd since the reviews were really good) - the first time the home button didn't work and the second time some parts of the iPad weren't sensitive to touch. (1st problem is specific to less expensive devices, 2nd problem - I have no idea what caused it). The quality of this unit when you saw you were buying it for $20 gave me comfort from the start that it wasn't a replacement issue. …and it worked! You don't need to apply any glue, everything is part of the device. My kid has a tablet to play around with and I didn't have to buy another one. Frustration level with this setting is 0% overall - based on what I know now, I would only buy this replacement. The process is easy (especially when you've done it 3 times :)). What is frustrating about the seller's other items is that they do not properly protect electrical components and it takes a long time to do so. You can return it etc if you are in the window period but you will wonder if other parts are broken if the unit doesn't work. Much luck! and to minimize your own headache - buy from them.
