I've been looking for kitchen gloves to wash dishes like this for a long time. I hated using generic branded items made from all sorts of eco-friendly materials. I also like that they are not varnished, another point for the environment. Why do you need fancy gloves in the kitchen? But I need gloves because my skin only gets really dry when I come into contact with water, especially the hard water we get from our well. They last longer, much longer than the toughest Mr. clean. It's normal to accidentally touch the knife blade when loading the dishwasher, right? Well, with "other" gloves, I'd stab through right away, and these bounce off the knife points like rubber should! I've also noticed that they don't dry out, stiffen, or crack like the others. While other brands have not lasted me more than a month, these have served me for 3 months now. And when they finally give up on me, I won't feel as bad about getting rid of them because I know they don't break down as slowly as plastic and produce the same harmful by-products. They're also long and stay on your arm so they don't slip or wrinkle. I just wanted to add that I have bought this product again and am very happy with it. The only downside is that it's packed in a lot of plastic! I buy them so I don't pollute the environment, but I still get plastic back. I will leave feedback to the seller to request a change.
