Arrived earlier than expected. I'm in the process of switching my wardrobe from cotton and synthetics to wool for reasons of health, sustainability and reducing pollution. Since wool is a bit more expensive, I prefer fewer items that are more versatile and well tailored. This dress looks beautiful and well made. The color is close to the color in the photo. The texture is soft and does not itch on bare skin. This is a slightly heavier yarn than I thought from the photos and may be handmade while in the photo it looks more like machine knitting. It's warm and cozy! I like that it has pockets and they are made in a way that they don't bulk up the clothes. I'm 5 feet tall and weigh about 125 pounds. The small size fits as expected for a sweater coat with enough room to add a layer or two underneath. I want to wear it as a sweater dress over a long tank top and leggings (it gets a bit chilly in the office I work in) and it looks great that way. I might order another one in a very small size though, to see if I like it better for this purpose. The price for me is a significant investment given my income but with proper care I expect it to last several winters. and the style leans towards the classic rather than the fashionable, giving it longevity as a fashion statement. I'm happy with this purchase and I think the material, quality and looks are worth the price. I would buy this again.
