Review on πŸ’¨ Rhinox CO2 Generator Kit - Pressurized DIY System with Caps, Valves, 3-Way Connector, Tubing, and Pressure Gauge by Stacy Sanders

Finicky but works for Air Pump Accessories

Not easy to give an overall rating as the system works as described but it is finicky, requires constant attention and has a limited range. Setup is pretty easy. (I use baking soda and citric acid) but: - You need to make sure each connection is tight. When first filling, the citric acid solution flowed everywhere. My first mix took just over a week. The second time I saw an empty acid bottle was two days later. So the range varies. The assembly is pretty solid, but: - Most of the parts are plastic, so be careful not to over-tighten. My meter doesn't work at all. The seller responded very quickly and helped you perfectly. It produces CO2 very well, but: - the supplied needle valve is cheap and difficult to adjust. I bought the best (Rhinox Brass) which makes a huge difference when it comes to adjusting the amount of bubbles. However, as all pressure retaining parts are made of highly flowable plastic, there are constant pressure changes in the system and therefore a constant supply of CO2 is rare - it can take a while before you have enough pressure to diffuse. All in all I recommend it. for those who want to try CO2. Some plants (like my Rotalas) show an instant beautiful color change so the set does what it says on the tin. Details don't crumble under your fingers. Everything connects well. Personally, however, I don't see this as an attitude that I can give up and trust to go away. He needs your attention and care. So don't expect the feeling of compressed CO2, but who expects it?
