I love this surge protector and the price is great. I'm not an electrician, I'm not doing anything special here. I just use it as an extension cord from the socket under the bed to plug in my iPhone, Kindle and laptop. Although there are six sockets, they are very close together and I find it difficult to use more than three at a time. The small icon indicates that you should use the end jack for products with large square plugs like my Kindle. But when I want to connect a second square product, like rechargeable camera batteries, it pretty much takes up the rest of the surge protector. Not critical, but I hope they revise the layout a bit, maybe rotate the sockets in different directions? I'm not sure if this is possible from a technical point of view. But for the price, it's a very useful item and I like that it's backed by a hardware warranty.
