My husband is a computer guru and needs a laptop stand to give him more desk space for his numerous monitors and computing devices. He found this one because it was the cheapest on the list so decided to give it a try. He's had it for a few years now and it's great. He's rough with his stuff and it still works well for him. It keeps his laptop about 12 inches from the table, and since he uses a separate keyboard to type, the extra height of the laptop doesn't affect his typing experience. This stand has bumpers on the front to keep your laptop from sliding off. It's also been helpful lately because our twin toddlers are interested in everything, keeping the laptop out of the reach of little hands (yet). All in all it was great for him and would recommend this stand to anyone who wants a stand like this for their laptop. It is durable and good value for money.
