It has 3 IR sensors and a 120 degree field of view with a maximum range of 65 feet and a trigger speed of 0.2 seconds. Product measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4" x 2 1/2" and weighs approximately 9.3 oz dry. Add an additional 5 oz with batteries. The camera is equipped with a tripod mount that fits into the The camera is IP66 certified, which means that it is dustproof and protected from heavy seas or strong jets of water. So it should be suitable for inclement weather. What I liked about this product is that it is more compact than others I have.Even with the batteries charged the weight is still less than 1lb.The markings on the camera are subtle and allow her to camouflage herself well almost anywhere. The FOV isn't as good as some, but it's still 120 degrees, which is about average for a security camera. Also, the reaction speed and detection distance are in the m est competitors. This product has a feature that I have not seen before. It is access to the WFi application. The app is easy enough to download and it took about a minute. To access the application's features, you must: Turn on the camera. Wait a 15 second shutdown. Open the Trail Cam Pro app. to the app and it must be connected to the camera. So the process won't take long, but the wifi isn't really what I expected. So here are the good and bad aspects of WiFi. Okay, this gives you access to upload photos and videos and change settings. This can come in handy when the weather is bad. You can change any setting that you can physically change on the camera. Too bad the camera signal isn't that strong so I couldn't get further than about 20 feet from the unit. So really, what's the point other than you don't have to open the device and load the SD card. I was also hoping it would have some sort of notification feature that would let you know when it detected motion. No, how about live feed. no The best you can do is go to the app under the About tab. It shows a live photo when you enter this tab. There is a refresh button at the bottom left that updates the photo with each selection. This is as real as can be. The Wi-Fi capability is described in the product information but is vague so you don't know if you can use it to view what the camera sees remotely. It cannot be viewed remotely as a video stream. But it can give you real-time photo if you are close enough. You cannot manage all settings with the app because you cannot access some function dialogs. They are clipped and cannot be scrolled. So far I am not completely satisfied with the WLAN function. Excellent quality video, audio and photos. I have another problem that unfortunately happens with every camera trap I have. Unless it has an internal battery. I've had several cameras in the past and some of them are really good and some aren't. I would think that nowadays you don't need 8 AA 1.5V batteries for a digital trail camera to work. All this space could easily be used for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. That being said, you can technically run this camera on a single pack of 4 AA 1.5V batteries, only halving the operating time. I checked the connection for the solar panel. Luckily I have a solar panel and a set of adapters. However, you MUST supply an adapter cable as a set of adapters is expensive. The port didn't work for any configuration in my tests. Connecting the solar panel did not charge the batteries if they are rechargeable. It also didn't power the camera. This is disappointing as it could sort of fix the battery issue. The manufacturer grants a 12-month guarantee on this product from the date of purchase. Detailed information can be found at the end of the user manual. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, with a few tweaks, this could be an amazing product. It's still better than anything I have. However, since some non-included parts are missing, the connector for the solar panel will not work. Lack of a real-time channel, which should seem easy. You already have an update. How much more development is required to live stream from the app? That would be HUGE for me and many other hunters. Also a motion detection alarm would be great. Obviously this should be limited to the line of sight or range of your Wi-Fi. But that's something no one else has. Everything I said is the best I've ever seen but still needs improvement. I hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars] This product is made in China.
