God cow, that thing is bright! I think this LED light may be too much. When Spring/Summer arrives it will easily attract all flying instincts within a few miles. I live next to a farm, so yes. Can't say much about power consumption, but it replaced a metal halite bulb that sure was energy intensive (by comparison). While simple enough, I had to bypass/modify the original Lamm build. I can't say how long it will take as it's only been a week. I will update in about 6 months and then a year later.
