Beginner's wax here. It's like I've never waxed anything other than my eyebrows and lips and only by a professional. One day I just felt the need to explore the machines. I live in Florida and the constant worry that I will always be hairless has reached its limit. I chose the Vennco hair removal kit because it had the highest rating and the best price. I knew buying it and hating it was risky, but I had to try it at least once. Arrived quickly as expected. Supplied with 4 packs of hard wax balls and a heater. There is nothing complex and complex in the device. It's basically like a slow cooker, but obviously for growing. Switching it on for the first time was pretty easy. I read the instructions, watched a very simple 1 minute 30 second video on YouTube and immediately got hooked. After warming up the wax, I used the small sticks that came with the kit to spread the hard wax. The actual process of waxing, the consistency and thickness of the area takes practice, but other than that, as long as you let it cool to give it the right amount of time, pull and that's it. I would say that the process itself is not that complicated but requires clarification and simply learning how your hair grows and how to do it to make it as uncomfortable as possible. And while it's obviously uncomfortable, anyone who says it doesn't hurt is lying, but I think the short-term discomfort is greatly overshadowed by the outcome. I really don't think you need anything more complex or sophisticated than this product. It's simple and does what it's supposed to. I'm glad I bought it, it changed my life a lot. I understand the wax hype I'm getting it now.
