The charger seems quite heavy, the cable from the plug to the transformer is noticeably heavier than both the original HP charger and another charger I bought as a replacement for camping . The cable from the transformer is also more durable than my original charger. However, the packaging configuration has permanently set both cores, which I think mostly indicates the use of inferior plastic cables, resulting in kinks and poor wiring. As it turns out, my dog finds them great for chewing. Also, the blue tip is a little big for a PC connector, but that makes it easy to disconnect if it stumbles without getting damaged.
