Wow, never used a microplan on the body, only on hard cheeses or citrus peels! If you are very careful this is a great tool to remove very rough skin/calls from your feet. The other two "mills" also work very well. They are a good size to go anywhere. I have such dry skin at the moment and these products will help keep my legs smooth. I recommend softening the skin with warm water first and then applying a good lotion. Be sure to wash the tools with soap and water after use and dry well. They should last a long time, but that remains to be seen.
