I really wanted to like this. It has so many sensory play aspects that I thought my little son would love it. Ultimately, it was too big and difficult for a small hand to grasp the bulges protruding from the ball. Only recently my 24 month old was able to pick it up without immediately dropping it. Also, it's almost impossible to clean. There are plastic parts, shiny vinyl parts and real fabric parts. My son eventually got the flu (around 10-12 months old) and I tried to treat him but ended up wiping him down hard with a chemical disinfectant wipe and then hoping for the best. There are far better sensory development toys out there that can be cleaned properly.
