The pads are packed in a nice box with two bags: one for washing, the other for storing. The white pads are a traditional loop, similar to a baby's diaper. The placement of the fingers in the pocket allows it to be used in the way I expected. I really like the little white pads because they feel like soft cotton terry. The gray anthracite colored pads are made of fleece. Fleece inserts are made of synthetic materials and must be held in such a way that the layers do not slip. I opened up one of the fleece pads to reveal two smooth sides facing each other to allow the fabric to slide. Cloths that slip are a problem, especially when brushing in circular movements. Pockets are not needed due to the way I need to hold the gray pads.
